What is the World Maritime Week?

World Maritime Week is a maritime meeting that brings together 4 international congresses in the capital of Biscay.

Where and when is it celebrated?

The last edition was held during the days February 12, 13 and 14, 2019 .
The fairground Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC of Barakaldo) will host the next edition in 2021 , as usual.

What activities does it include?

The congresses held over 3 days encompass the 4 areas of the maritime sector :
• Shipbuilding: Sinaval Fair
• Ports: Futureport
• Fishing: Eurofishing
• Marine renewable energy: Marine Energy Week

Each of them has networking programs specific to each sector, in addition to shared areas and activities.

Sinaval Congress

The Sinaval Congress , the oldest and most important of the World Maritime Week , is the one that is most directly related to the business activity of MAQMAR . In this congress B2B meetings (Networking), international conferences , d shopper’s entertainment and an exhibition area take place.

World Maritime Week and business

This week the World Maritime Weekend gathers around 35 shipyards and shipowners from 27 countries that congregate in Bilbao to do business and achieve notoriety. It is undoubtedly one of the most important events in the maritime sector and therefore in MAQMAR no We miss the opportunity to attend each edition .
